Serving Eastern South Dakota
Anne Dailey
Anne Dailey lives in her hometown of Mitchell, SD.
She attended Interior Design school in MN which included programming and planning for accessibility and designing health care spaces. Anne has been fortunate to design environments that make life easier for those who have special needs and she has also helped several clients remodel, relocate or build new to accommodate the different stages of their lives as they aged.
One of the highlights for Anne upon returning to South Dakota from MN was to be able to spend time with her parents. Over the last 3-1/2 years she was able to care for them during their aging and changing health circumstances. Around the time they realized that her Mom had more than an aging memory, they also learned her Dad was ill with a cancer that took him very quickly. The trauma of that illness and loss caused a rapid progression in her mom's Alzheimers.
As a result, Anne has personal experience that is perhaps similar to the journey you are walking with your loved one. She built and managed a personal care team that allowed her Mom to stay in her beloved home for over three years. As her needs continued to increase, they moved her to a secure Memory Care Community where she currently resides.
Anne has learned that even in the best planned home, good design isn't always enough. When health needs can no longer be provided safely and realistically at home, finding other options that can provide for the senior’s current needs is next. That is where Anne can help walk you through the best options and solutions based on your specific needs.
